World Recreation Association of the Deaf

The World Recreation Association of the Deaf is a non-profit recreational, educational, and cultural organization made up of deaf, hearing impaired and hearing people who live in all parts of the world. WRAD celebrates the differences and diversities of people, and encourages interaction among the membership, for stimulating and exciting exchanges of ideas, concepts, and information.

International Committee of Sports for the Deaf

The Comité International des Sports des Sourds was founded in Paris, France on the 24th of August 1924 at a meeting of Deaf sports leaders from Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Great Britain, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Romania.

International Martial Arts Federation of the Deaf

At last, we expect sincerely all fellow countrymen of the deaf to unite together to make efforts for the welfare of the deaf harmoniously, encouraging martial arts and sports, promoting the exchange of disciplines and developing international friendship of the deaf and hard of hearing.

Association Deaf Italian Chess

The Association Deaf Italian Chess (A.S.I.S.) was founded in 1989 in Rome, Italy and is recognised by International Committee of Silent Chess (I.C.S.C.) and by the Federation Chess Italien (F.S.I.); it publishes its periodical magazine "Il Cavallo Silenzioso" (A.S.I.S. Bulletin) every three months. Besides it organizes the Italian championships individuals and teams.
